Shelby Joseph Cutlip, inventor of Shelby Joes Sloppy Joe Sauces, passed on and went to be with Jesus on July 15, 2020 at a very young age of 55 years old. Shelby Joe was a beloved member of the Mapleton community.

In honor of Shelby Joseph Cutlip, we have established a Memorial Scholarship for all seniors from Mapleton High School. There are two $500 scholarships will be awarded to members of each graduating class.

All applications are due to the Mapleton High School guidance. Application Process is now closed.

We also host an Annual Shelby Joes Classic Memorial Golf Outing and Charity event to help with the Scholarships and giving back to the Charities.

She would like to encourage all of you to follow your dreams and DO NOT give up when the going gets tough. Pray and ask God for wisdom in everything that you do and before studying, taking exams and especially before making important Life decisions. Pray and then really listen.
